BITSAT 2014 admission test is conducted by the  Birla Institute of Technology and Science   for admissions into integrated engineering degree Program at the all BITS Campus e.g. Pilani Campus,Goa campus, Hyderabad campus etc. Those Students who have interested to become a part of BITS Pilani then we can check the details of the BITSAT 2014 exam, application form, eligibility criteria, results and counseling.

 BITS Pilani BITSAT-2014 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who have interested to take admission to any of the Integrated First Degree Programmed, then we should have passed the 12th class board examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State Board or its equivalent, with (P.C.M) and obtained a minimum aggregate of 75% marks in (P.C.M) in 12thexamination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have adequate proficiency in English.

Those Candidates should have passed 12th Examination in 2013 or should be appearing for 12thexamination in 2014, to be eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2013.

If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12thclass or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects/courses prescribed.

Those Candidates who have passed 12thexamination in 2012 or earlier are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2014.

Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2014.

Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT-2014, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in 12thexamination, as mentioned.


Direct Admission to Board Toppers: First rank students of all Central and State Boards in India for 2014 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT-2014 score as per the eligibility criteria mentioned.  BITS PILANI BITSAT-2014 Exam Format

BITSAT is a computer based online test where, the candidate sits in front of a computer, getting questions on the computer monitor. He/she has to answer the questions on the computer through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. BITSAT-2014 will be offered over a period of time. Applicant can choose the Center, the Day and Time of his/her convenience to take the test, subject to the availability of time slots.

BITSAT-2013 will be of 3 hours duration, without break and consisting of 150 questions. The test will have four parts with Physics in Part-1 (40 Questions), Chemistry in Part II (40), (a) English Proficiency (15) and (b) Logical Reasoning (10) in Part III and Mathematics in Part IV (45). All questions will be of the objective type, multiple choices type with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer will result in loss of 1 mark. No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. While the candidate can skip a question, the candidate will not be able to choose more than one option as correct answer. There is no time limit for individual parts of the test. The candidate can go back and change any of his/her answers among the 150 questions. If a candidate answers all the 150 questions (without skipping any question), the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 extra questions, if there is still time left. These extra questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics only with four questions from each part.

Once the candidate has opted for extra questions, he/she cannot go back for correction of any of the 150 questions answered earlier. The questions are so designed that a good student will be able to answer 150 questions in 180 minutes. The extra 12vquestionswill give a chance to highly meritorious candidates to score higher.

The BITSAT-2013 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11thand 12thclasses. The detailed syllabus is given in the Annexure to the BITSAT 2014 Brochure that can be downloaded from A sample test demonstrating the features of BITSAT will be made available to the registered candidates at the BITS website on which he/she can practice as many times as desired.



The Application fees of for BITSAT-2013 is Rs. 1750/-. It is Rs. 1250/- for female candidates.

Options for payment of fees are given at If the payment is by way of Demand Draft, then the amount to be paid is Rs. 1850/- (Rs. 1350/- for female candidates). If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $ 50 (or Rs. 2500/- ). Application: Applications can be submitted for BITSAT-2014 online, at as per the instructions there. Fee has to be remitted in the manner prescribed.
